Village of Shincliffe

We took a break from working on the house to tour a local village! Very quaint and the gardens were spectacular! Only about 8 minutes by Uber!

In the Village of Shincliffe is St. Mary’s Church. No idea how old it is, but if the grave stones offer any hint, it’s pretty old…

And, the Parish has a “wild church” that involved a cookout and building a “bug hotel” on the grounds to entice the local bugs to come and stay a bit… maybe pollinate a flower or two. ALL god’s creatures (even the ones Deb doesn’t like)! Very neat stuff.

We do wonder, though, if bed bugs are a problem!

    1. yes, a very sweet village — only a couple of roads and a large gardening center — think Parkleigh meets Garden Factory. Could spend hours there!
