Hampton Court (southwest London) was the Royal Palace of Henry the VIII, the famous king with all the wives, although originally it was built for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey. It consists of three large courtyards with adjacent outbuildings and extensive gardens.
This is a picture of the map. It’s quite large!
The kitchen is huge, including several very large fireplaces and ovens.
The inside is very opulent and fit for a King… and a Queen…. and a Queen…. and another Queen…. and another Queen… how about another Queen….. and lastly, one more Queen.
Here, some of the conservation staff are rolling up one of the giant tapestries.
This is one of the King’s presentation rooms.
Tapestries cover most of the walls and are ornate, including gold stitching.
The gardens and grounds are extensive!
A beautiful place to visit, you just have to keep your head!
… hmmm…I always thought a fhrone was made of porcelain…
And Did i see a Chocolate kitchen on the map?!
