We returned home to New York for a week at the end of September to see family and friends and beautiful Fall in Upstate NY! Everywhere you look people are getting ready for autumn and Halloween. There are lots of vibrant colors in the trees this time of year.
And there are lots of fall treats to look at and eat!
Halloween combines family, fun, and scaring each other! Near where we live is a place called Powers Farm Market that always goes all out in their decorations!
Powers is known for the huge teepees full of lit jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, and other things that go “bump” in the night.
Not to be outdone, there are lots of places to see in Central New York as well!
Some farmers can even get a bit creative with their bales of hay!
And best of all we were able see lots of close friends!
Nice to see you if only briefly! Autumn in the Finger Lakes is so beautiful.
And thanks for helping me find Dave! And his car! …don’t ask.
Enjoyed spending a little extra time with you in WNY after seeing you in St. Andrews
YES! Two continents in as many weeks!
Was good to see you both, however briefly. I enjoy your blog.
Miss you, David. We will need to plan ahead for our next visit home!
